Position: OEM Electronics Researcher

Location: El Segundo, CA

Scope and Responsibilities:
Support an OEM electronics analyst located in El Segundo, California. Develop research to support an existing service and to launch new services. Utilize primary and secondary market research techniques to collect data related to consumer electronics and semiconductor industries (entire supply chain).

Specific responsibilities include:

Obtaining and reviewing source material.

Collecting data on shipments, revenues, market trends, product launches, and other metrics.

Maintaining data models.

Working with internal company resources to exchange data among related services.

Researching and collecting financial data on electronic companies, using internet and phone calls.

The researcher will be expected to be able to accurately update a specific number of companies daily.

Work will have busier periods and at these times the researcher will be expected to work extended hours to meet the strict timescales for updating information.

Qualifications:

Some previous experience with technology related market research and analysis is preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Intellectual curiosity
Interest in consumer electronics and semiconductor industries

Requirements:

Ability to work with data models
Basic understanding of financial reports
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Good verbal and written communications skills
Chinese language skills

Education:

BS degree in Finance, Library Science, Marketing, Business, or Engineering
