William Kidd brings 15 years of equity research, investment banking and corporate strategy experience. His experience includes senior analyst roles at Lehman Brothers, HSBC Securities, C.E. Unterberg, Towbin, and Wedbush Morgan Securities. He has been ranked as a top Wall Street analyst by organizations like Institutional Investor, Greenwich Associates and Forbes, while covering media, pay television and satellites. Kidd began his career at the Industrial Bank of Japan in credit research.
Kidd’s expertise rests in forecasting industry/consumer trends, evaluating strategic actions, valuing companies, raising capital and advising corporate management and institutional investors. On the financing side, he has both led and contributed to a host of equity, debt, convertible, and merger transactions in technology-driven sectors like media, telecom, and aerospace. Although the bulk of William's experience comes from North American capital markets, he has extensive experience with and has covered equities in Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
He is charged with developing investment/equity research and custom analyses with the overriding objective to support clients in capitalizing on TMT research from the IHS team of more than 150 veteran analysts worldwide.
Kidd holds a Masters in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University.
