Position: Equity Analyst, Financial Services (Media or Semiconductor Industry)

Financial Services from iSuppli offers custom projects/analyses, investment research, corporate finance, due diligence, and competitive intelligence services for traditional technology clients, institutional investors, investment banks, venture capitalists, and private equity firms.
Scope and Responsibilities:
- Assist Financial Services research team
- Build industry/company models and author reports as part of a developing a competitive franchise
- Contribute to custom projects (ie due diligence work, etc)
- Develop relationships with iSuppli’s analyst team and FS clients
- Support client inquiries
- Market iSuppli Research (e.g. foster relationship, one-on-one meetings, client presentations, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Mandatory sell-side experience (junior or senior level) of at least two years at a mid-to-major brokerage, covering either semiconductors or media.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills especially listening skills
- Working knowledge of accounting and finance
- Strong analytical skills; ability to synthesize large amounts of data and communicate a message
- Excel Power User - must be comfortable handling large data sets, navigating and building spreadsheets with macro's and pivot tables
- Be resourceful and self-directed
- Familiarity with technology and equity markets a plus

Education:
Strong record of academic achievement. For BS candidates with 1-3 years of work experience, courses in accounting, economics and finance are recommended. For MBAs, finance majors preferred
