Daniel Simmons plays an integral role in developing the company’s TV Technology Intelligence service. His knowledge base is centered on customer premises equipment markets such as set-top boxes, television sets, conditional access and middleware. In complement to the intelligence service, Simmons has undertaken an array of bespoke consultancy projects centered on the entire TV technology value chain.

Simmons graduated from the University of Surrey with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. He was also awarded an Associateship of the University of Surrey with distinction for undertaking a professional training year with Mitsubishi Electric ITE's Visual Information Laboratory where he was involved in developing video processing algorithms.
