Tim Westcott joined the company in September 2004 and has written reports on film and sports rights, animated movies and television on the internet. He previously worked for two years at the European Audiovisual Observatory in Strasbourg as an analyst specializing public film and audiovisual funding. He co-authored an observatory report on the subject and was responsible for KORDA, an online database of film funds.

A trained journalist, Westcott has worked for the Financial Times and Emap, including a stint as editor of Television Business International. He holds a Master of Arts with Honours in English Literature from Trinity College, Cambridge.
