Kevin Keller brings more than 22 years of engineering and design experience to the IHS Teardown Analysis team, where he performs detailed hardware analysis of electronic devices such as wireless handsets, televisions, digital cameras in addition to other consumer and industrial electronic systems. His broad knowledge of circuit design, component engineering, mechanical, electro-mechanical and materials design yields an extremely high degree of industry insight.
Prior to joining IHS, Keller was the engineering manager for Anchor Audio, a manufacturer of high-end portable public-address systems. At Anchor, he was responsible for analog and digital circuit design, circuit board design, mechanical/packaging design, prototyping and testing, project management and supervision of the entire engineering staff. He also has extensive experience in designing custom electro-magnetics for the aerospace and defense industries as chief engineer for Zenith Transformer. Additionally, Keller has worked as a design engineering and product development consultant, and in his spare time he even enjoys performing repair and construction projects of musical and audio equipment.
Keller earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
