European TV Prices Reach Year High in June

June 2012 saw a rise in average retail prices for TVs across both LCD and Plasma TVs. Between May 2012 and June 2012, LCD TVs prices rose from $935 to $961, and Plasma TVs rose from $1,384 to $1,481. Average retail pricing for LCD TVs for popular screen sizes in Western Europe generally fell slightly in June 2012, with all major screen sizes from 47-inches and under experiencing a decrease in pricing.
